Bloodfin Darter (Etheostoma sanguifluum)

Description: 

The Bloodfin Darter is found in the middle and upper Cumberland River drainage in south-central Kentucky and north-central Tennessee. They live in clear riffles with gravel substrate in small to medium rivers. Like many other members of the subgenus Nothonotus, Bloodfin Darters have a moderately pointed snout.
