As the common name suggests, the Mobile Logperch is found in the Mobile Basin in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee. They live over gravel substrate in riffles and runs of creeks to large rivers. As with other members of the logperch group, Mobile Logperches have a pointed snout that they use to flip over rocks for feeding.
