Redline Darter (Etheostoma rufilineatum)


The Redline Darter is widespread in the Cumberland and Tennessee River drainages in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. They are found in fast, rocky riffles and runs of creeks to medium rivers. Like many other members of the subgenus Nothonotus, Redline Darters have a moderately pointed snout.
