The Rosyside Dace is found in the Ohio River Drainage, including the Tennessee and Cumberland river drainages, as well as Atlantic Coast drainages from Georgia to Pennsylvania. They are usually found in clear headwater streams with deep pools. As the common name suggests, Rosyside Daces have a rosy color along their side.
