All museum data was obtained from FishNet 2.
Locality data and photo vouchers received from FIN Living Museum are stored on the servers. All photo vouchers and locality data are verified by experts. Once verified, data are uploaded to the appropriate species’ page. Uploads include new distribution/locality information and photo vouchers associated with these data.
Scientists can apply to be an approved user of the back end scientific reporting portal. There they can view threatened and endangered species in more detail (including photo vouchers and locality information for the Living Museum). Scientists can also share data in this portal as well. Scientists choosing to contributing data may choose to not share this information with the public webpage (www.tnacifin.com)
, then only scientists with approved credentials will have access to these data.
