About This Fish

The Silverstripe Shiner is widespread throughout the Mobile Basin in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi. They live in fast or slow-moving water in creeks to large rivers. As the common name suggests, Silverstripe Shiners have a silver stripe along the side.
